Kitano Tenmangu Shrine for my first visit of the year⛩

年始に北野天満宮へ初詣に伺いました。

学問の神様として名高い天神様ですが、
私にとっては「努力を重ねる者の歩みを静かに見守る存在」という印象があります。

境内に鎮座する撫で牛は、天神様のお使いとされ、知恵や健康を授かる象徴です。
この“知恵”と“健康”という二つの要素は、経営においても極めて重要です。判断力を欠けば事業は迷走し、現場の健やかさを失えば継続は成り立ちません。

現在、近江・滋賀の地で事業に携わる中で、あらためて感じるのは「急がず、しかし止まらず」という近江商人の精神です。
売り手よし、買い手よし、世間よし——この言葉は理想論ではなく、長く続く事業だけが体現できる実践知だと感じています。

今年は、仕事の安定と健康の維持を祈願しました。
これは個人の願いではなく、地域に根差し、信頼を積み重ねながら事業を続けていくための基盤づくりでもあります。
滋賀という土地で仕事をする以上、一時的な成果ではなく、次の世代にも繋がる持続性を意識した経営が求められていると考えています。

年の始まりに神社を訪れることは、経営計画を立てる前に、自身の姿勢を整える行為だと思っています。
本年も、近江の地に学び、現場を大切にしながら、誠実な経営を積み重ねてまいります。

This year, I prayed for stability in my work and continued good health.
This is not just a personal wish, but also for building a foundation for continuing my business while being rooted in the local community and building trust.
Working in Shiga, I believe that management that is conscious of sustainability that will connect to the next generation, rather than just short-term results, is required.

I believe that visiting the shrine at the start of the year is an act of getting myself in line before making business plans.
This year, too, I will continue to learn from the land of Omi, cherish our worksites, and continue to manage my business with integrity.
