Tokushima business trip report 🚙

Recently, I heard that a friend of mine was retiring, so I went to Tokushima, a place I remember fondly.
I had traveled to Tokushima with my late parents about 30 years ago.
I also visited there last year to inspect a renovation project for a long-established hotel.
Tokushima is just under two hours away by car across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.
I reunited with my old friend, enjoyed the famous sea bream dish, and promised to see each other again while taking care of our health.
After that, I visited the Otsuka Museum of Art to inspect a new project.
A unique ceramic panel art museum in Naruto Park.
The viewing route is about 4km long, and it boasts one of the largest permanent exhibition spaces in Japan, with over 1,000 Western masterpieces from ancient times to the present reproduced in full size on ceramic panels. The "environmental exhibition" that recreates the entire local space of old ruins and chapels is a must-see. There is a "systematic exhibition" that shows the flow of Western art history, and a "thematic exhibition" that displays works by artists from past and present by theme. The minimum time required is 2 to 3 hours, so you can spend a whole day here at your leisure.
