Happy New Year 2025🎍

淡路島で、初めての年越し…お正月🎍を迎えます。

2024年は、どんな一年だったでしょうか？簡単に振り返りたいと思います。

2024年は、地震や豪雨などの自然災害に見舞われ、甚大な被害が発生しました。
被災地では今なお、多くの方々が厳しい避難生活を余儀なくされています。
一方で、パリ五輪では日本代表が海外開催としては過去最多の45個のメダルを獲得。
また、大谷翔平選手がメジャーリーグ史上初の「50ー50」を達成するなど、多くの希望と感動が届けられました。

ロシアによるウクライナへの軍事侵攻が始まってから2024年11月19日で1000日。
パレスチナ、ガザ地区は、2023年10月7日に紛争が激化し、国連WFPの緊急支援活動が始動してから約１年が経ちますが、未だかつてない人道危機の苦境に立たされています。

まだまだ、不安定な世界状況でも有ります。個人的にも反省多き一年でした。
来年は、是非「良い年にしたい！」と切実に思います。

What kind of year was 2024?　I would like to take a quick look back.

In 2024, we were hit by natural disasters such as earthquakes and heavy rains, causing severe damage. Many people in the affected areas are still forced to live in difficult evacuation situations. On the other hand, at the Paris Olympics, the Japanese national team won 45 medals, the most ever for an overseas event. In addition, Shohei Otani achieved the first "50-50" in Major League history, delivering a lot of hope and excitement.

November 19, 2024 marks 1,000 days since Russia's military invasion of Ukraine began.
It has been about a year since the conflict intensified in the Gaza Strip in Palestine on October 7, 2023, and the UN WFP's emergency relief activities began, but the area is still in the midst of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

The world situation is still unstable. Personally, it has been a year with much to reflect on.
I sincerely hope that next year will be a good one.
I pray that it will be a wonderful year for all of you as well.
